The Houston Plumber Whose Customers Now Book Online at Midnight
The Call She Did Not Have to Take
Sarah Chen runs a plumbing business in Houston with one helper. Before she enabled JobsPaid's booking page, every new job started with a phone call — and Sarah was the one answering, scheduling, and following up, even at 10 PM when customers had plumbing emergencies they wanted to "book for next week."
"I was getting calls at all hours. Not emergencies — just people trying to schedule a drain cleaning for next Tuesday. I would take the call, write it down, put it in my calendar, and hope I did not forget to follow up."
The Booking Page Fix
When Sarah turned on her booking page through Settings → Booking, she added the link to her Google Business Profile. Within a week, she had her first midnight booking — a sewer inspection scheduled for a Thursday morning that she never spoke a word to the customer about.
"I woke up, had a new job on my calendar, customer already confirmed. Done. I did not have to do anything."
She now gets an average of four bookings per week through the link alone. Each one appears directly on her Schedule, the customer gets a confirmation text automatically, and Sarah reviews and confirms from her dashboard.
What Changed in Her Day
Before the booking page, Sarah estimates she spent 45 minutes a day handling scheduling calls and texts. Now it is under 10 minutes — reviewing new bookings and confirming details.
"The calls I still get are the real ones — someone has a burst pipe right now, or they have a question about a quote. Everything routine just comes in through the link."
She put the booking link on her business cards too. At the bottom: "Book your next service: jobspaid.ai/book/sarah-plumbing."
"People book at the weirdest hours," she says. "Saturday nights, Sunday mornings. I would never answer my phone then. But the app never sleeps."
