A Phoenix Landscaper Who Invoices Between Mow Jobs

The Story

Jesse P. and his brother run a two-man landscaping crew in Phoenix. Between March and October, the Arizona heat means they start work at 5 AM and finish by 1 PM. There is no office. There is no computer. Everything runs off Jesse's phone.

"People don't realize how physical this work is. By the time I get home, the last thing I want to do is sit down at a computer and type up invoices. So I just... didn't. I'd wait until the weekend and try to remember what I did for who."
