Setting Your Timezone
JobsPaid uses your timezone for displaying invoice dates, timestamps, and scheduling reminders correctly. Here is how to set it.
Setting Your Timezone
- Go to Dashboard → Settings → Account
- Find the Timezone section
- Select your timezone from the dropdown (27 global timezones are supported)
- Tap Save
Why Timezone Matters
Invoice dates — When you create an invoice at 11 PM your time, it should show today's date, not tomorrow's date in a different timezone.
Payment timestamps — The exact time a payment was received is shown in your local time.
Reminders and notifications — Overdue reminders are sent at the right time of day for your location.
Automatic Detection
On most devices, JobsPaid detects your timezone automatically when you first set up your account based on your device's system timezone.
Common Timezones
- US East — America/New_York (ET)
- US Central — America/Chicago (CT)
- US Mountain — America/Denver (MT)
- US Pacific — America/Los_Angeles (PT)
- Brazil — America/Sao_Paulo (BRT)
- Mexico City — America/Mexico_City (CST)
- Vietnam — Asia/Ho_Chi_Minh (ICT)
Date Format
Dates on invoices can be displayed in your local format (MM/DD/YYYY for US, DD/MM/YYYY for most other countries). This is set automatically based on your country.
