What Is Stripe Connect?

Stripe Connect is the technology that allows JobsPaid to process payments on your behalf. It connects your Stripe account to the JobsPaid platform so your customers can pay invoices online and the money goes directly to your bank account.

How It Works

1. You connect your Stripe account to JobsPaid (takes about 5 minutes)
2. JobsPaid automatically creates a payment link for every invoice
3. Your customer clicks the link, pays with any major card
4. The money is deposited into your bank account within 2 business days

Your Money Goes Directly to You

With Stripe Connect, funds go from your customer's card directly to your bank account. JobsPaid never holds your money — it goes straight to you.

Stripe Fees

Stripe charges a standard processing fee on each payment: 2.9% + 30¢ per successful card transaction (US rates). This fee is deducted automatically from each payment before it reaches your account.

For example: a $500 invoice payment → $500 − $14.80 (2.9% + $0.30) = $485.20 deposited to your bank.

Countries Where Stripe Connect Is Available

Stripe Connect is available for US contractors. Contractors in Brazil, Mexico, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, and other countries will have bank transfer payment options instead. Check Settings → Payments for what is available in your country.

Your Customer Data Is Safe

Stripe is PCI DSS Level 1 certified — the highest level of payment security. JobsPaid never stores your customers' card numbers.
