Attaching Photos of Handwritten Estimates

The Photo AI feature lets you take a picture of a handwritten estimate, old invoice, or notes — and automatically convert it into a professional digital invoice.

How to Use Photo AI

1. Open WhatsApp and message +1 (906) 999-7989
2. Tap the attachment icon (paperclip or camera)
3. Take a photo of your handwritten estimate or notes
4. Optionally add a caption describing what it is
5. Send the photo

JobsPaid AI reads the photo and extracts:

• Customer name and contact info (if visible)
• Each line item and its amount
• Total (if written)
• Date (if written)

It then creates a draft invoice that you can review, edit, and send.

What Types of Documents Work Best

Works well:

• Handwritten estimates on paper
• Typed quotes or estimates from another app
• Printed job tickets
• Old carbon copy invoices

Works less well:

• Very messy handwriting
• Photos taken at an angle
• Low lighting or blurry images
• Documents with water damage or folds through the text

Tips for Best Results

• Take the photo straight-on (not at an angle)
• Use good lighting — outside or near a window is ideal
• Make sure all text is in frame and not cut off
• Tap your phone screen on the document before shooting to focus

Reviewing the AI's Work

After the AI processes your photo, it sends back a summary of what it extracted. Review the line items and amounts carefully before replying SEND to deliver it to your customer.
