Updating Your Personal Information

Keeping your personal information up-to-date in JobsPaid ensures your invoices and quotes show the correct contact details. Whether you've changed your phone number, want to use a different email for customer communications, or need to update your name, here's how to make those changes.

Accessing Your Personal Information

Open JobsPaid and go to your Dashboard
Tap the Settings menu (usually found in the bottom navigation or side menu)
Select Profile from the settings options
You'll see your current personal information displayed

Updating Your Name

Find the Name field in your profile
Tap on the current name to edit it
Delete the old name and type your new name
Make sure to spell it exactly as you want it to appear on invoices
Tap Save or Update to confirm the change

Changing Your Display Email

Locate the Email section in your profile
Tap on the email field to edit it
Enter your new email address carefully
Double-check for typos - this email will appear on all customer communications
Tap Save to update your email

Updating Your Phone Number

Find the Phone Number field
Tap to edit the current number
Enter your new phone number including area code
Make sure the format matches your local standards
Tap Save to confirm the update

Common Mistakes

Don't forget to update your email in multiple places if you use it for Stripe payments or other integrations. Check your Integrations settings too.

Always double-check your spelling and formatting before saving. These details appear on every invoice you send to customers.

Remember that changing your email here only updates what customers see. If you need to change your login email, that's handled in Account settings.

Your updated information will automatically appear on all new invoices, quotes, and customer communications. Existing documents won't change, but everything moving forward will show your current details.
