Searching and Filtering Customers
As your customer list grows, finding the right customer quickly is important. Here is how to search and filter in JobsPaid.
Searching by Name
Go to Dashboard → Customers and use the search bar at the top. Type any part of the customer's name — first name, last name, or company name. Results update in real time as you type.
Searching by Phone Number
Type the phone number (or last 4 digits) in the search bar. This is useful when a customer calls you and you want to pull up their profile quickly.
Filtering Customers
Use the filter options to narrow your customer list by:
- Recent activity — Customers with invoices in the last 30/60/90 days
- Outstanding balance — Customers who have unpaid invoices
- Location — Customers in a specific city or state (if addresses are saved)
- Top revenue — Sort by total revenue to see your best clients
Finding a Customer's Invoice History
From the customer profile, tap View Invoices to see every invoice ever created for that customer — past, present, paid, unpaid, cancelled.
Exporting Your Customer List
Go to Reports → Customers → Export CSV to download your full customer list as a spreadsheet.
Customer Notes Search
The search bar searches names and phone numbers, but not notes. To find customers by a note keyword, export to CSV and use the search function in Excel or Google Sheets.
