Customer Says They Did Not Receive the Invoice
If your customer says they never got the invoice, here are the most common causes and how to fix each one.
Check the Phone Number First
Go to Dashboard → Invoices, open the invoice, and verify the customer's phone number. A single wrong digit means the message went to a stranger.
To fix: tap the customer name, edit their phone number, then resend the invoice.
WhatsApp Delivery vs SMS
JobsPaid sends invoices via both SMS and WhatsApp. If your customer does not use WhatsApp, the WhatsApp message will show "delivered" but they may only see it if they install the app. Make sure they check their SMS messages too.
Invoice May Be in Spam
For customers receiving invoice links via SMS, the link may be filtered by their carrier as spam — especially if they have a new phone number. Ask them to check their spam folder or filtered messages.
Resend the Invoice
The fastest fix: open the invoice and tap Resend. This sends a fresh message to the customer's phone.
Share the Invoice Link Directly
Every invoice has a unique public link (jobspaid.ai/i/...). You can copy this link and send it to your customer via any channel — WhatsApp personally, iMessage, email, or even show them on your phone screen.
Invoice Link Expiry
Invoice links are valid for 90 days. If a link has expired, you can create a new invoice or contact support to extend the original.
⚡ Tip: After sending, ask your customer "Did you get a text from JobsPaid?" — this confirms delivery in real time.
