My Invoice Will Not Send

If you are trying to send an invoice and it is failing, here is how to diagnose and fix the problem.

Check the Customer Phone Number

The most common reason an invoice fails to send is an incorrect phone number. Go to the customer's profile and verify:

Check Your Connection

Invoice sending requires an internet connection. Make sure your phone or computer has a working connection before trying again.

WhatsApp Number Registered

JobsPaid sends invoices via the WhatsApp Business number +1 (906) 999-7989. Some customers may need to save this number before they can receive WhatsApp messages from it. Have your customer add the number to their contacts and try again.

Invoice in Draft Status

Invoices must be in Draft status to be sent. If the invoice is already marked "Sent," "Paid," or "Cancelled," the send button will be disabled. To resend, open the invoice and use the Resend option.

Free Tier Limit Reached

If you are on the Free plan and have used all 10 monthly invoices, you cannot create or send new invoices until next month (or you upgrade to Pro).

Server-Side Error

If the invoice shows an error message like "Failed to send" after trying, this is usually a temporary issue. Wait 60 seconds and try again. If it keeps failing, contact support with the invoice number.
